Why can't I place an order for your cards or art on the website ?
Since each card is individually handmade, I don't always keep the exact designs from my blog in stock. When you place an order, it initiates a direct message with me. This allows us to confirm all the details so I can create exactly what you are looking for. Please note that payments are not currently processed through the website; we will finalize order expectations and details during our communication.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Because each piece is custom-made, turnaround times vary based on the size of the project, its complexity, and how many orders are ahead of yours. For example, my intricate quilled art is the most time-intensive, taking between 5 and 15 hours to complete. I will always let you know when I start your project and give you an estimated completion date. If you ever want a progress report, just reach out—I'm happy to share updates!
Why don't you list firm prices for the cards, art work or shipping?
Listed prices are baseline amounts for the designs as shown. Because each card or quilled piece is made-to-order and customizable, the final price may adjust depending on your requested changes.
Here is how pricing works:
-
Base Price: Cards start at $10 if you want the design as displayed in the portfolio. Quilled art starts at $50. (Add $25 for the work delivered in a shadowbox frame.)
-
Customization Fee: A $5 design fee applies if you customize names, colors, images, or layout. This covers the time needed to design to your specifications and includes a review process for you to request changes before manual crafting begins.
-
Variations: Because every piece is handmade upon order, slight variations from the portfolio image may occur.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping costs are variable, and I only pass along the actual postage cost to you. Because it is impossible to calculate shipping before your order details are finalized, no firm shipping prices are listed on the site. However, I will make every effort to provide a shipping estimate before I begin crafting your project.
What is your return policy if I am unsatisfied, or my product does not look exactly like the portfolio photo?
I strive for 100% customer satisfaction, which is why I communicate with you throughout the entire process to get your order exactly right.
Variations always exist in handcrafted products.Your item may not look identical to the photo in the portfolio, but will be very similar. In fact, I purposely never make any two items identical - so each item you receive is a product that is unique to you. I keep a very limited stock and craft each item as it is ordered. Because every piece is one-of-a-kind creation, you can expect slight variations in color shades, textures, and fine details from the portfolio photos.
-
Custom Orders: I do not accept returns or offer refunds on any custom work. To ensure you love the final product, I collaborate closely with you to finalize all details and get your design sign-off before manual crafting begins.
-
Standard (Non-Custom) Orders: If you ordered a standard item as shown and I am able to restock it, returns and refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. However, I reserve the right to deny a return or refund.
